Until Dawn PC System Requirements Unveiled

September 12, 2024 by Dennis Patrick

Get ready for another horrifying time.

When Supermassive Games released Until Dawn, this instantly became a massive hit. The title focused on players making a series of choices that slightly altered the story for the characters involved. Years later, we’re finally getting another helping of this game. What we’re getting here this coming month is a complete remake by the folks at Ballistic Moon.

The Until Dawn remake looks to give players the same gripping horror experience but a massive overhaul in visuals. But what might also appeal to players is that this game is finally coming to the PC platform. If you’re planning to pick up the game for the PC, you’ll want to ensure your system can run it. Today, thanks to the PlayStation Blog, we have the official PC system requirements.

Until Dawn PC System Requirements

Minimum System Requirements

  • Processor Intel Core i7 4790K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X (or similar processor with AVX support)
  • Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 / Radeon RX 470 (or equivalent card with minimum 6GB VRAM)
  • Memory 8GB RAM
  • Storage 70GB on SSD
  • OS Windows 10, 11

Recommended System Requirements

  • Processor Intel Core i5 8600 / AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
  • Graphics NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 6600XT
  • Memory 16GB RAM
  • Storage 70GB on SSD
  • OS Windows 10, 11

High System Requirements

  • Processor Intel Core i5 8600 / AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
  • Graphics NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 / AMD Radeon RX 6800XT
  • Memory 16GB RAM
  • Storage 70GB on NVMe
  • OS Windows 10, 11

Ultra System Requirements

  • Processor Intel Core i7 11700K / AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
  • Graphics NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 6900XT
  • Memory 16GB RAM
  • Storage 70GB on NVMe
  • OS Windows 10, 11

It’s noted that the PC version of Until Dawn will include full DualSense controller support, upscaling with NVIDA DLSS3 & AMD FSR 3, ultrawide aspect ratio, Ray-tracing support, and unlocked frame rate. That should hopefully bring out a thrilling gameplay experience for when it launches into the marketplace.

That said, the remake of Until Dawn will also be released on the PlayStation 5 platform. Both the PC and PlayStation 5 will receive this game on October 4, 2024. For now, you can view a trailer for the game in the video we have embedded below.
