However, there wasn’t any mention as to when players might be able to see this version of the game release, so we’ll need to keep our eyes open for a release date announcement.
But those who enjoy the game on other platforms should see even more Minecraft content coming your way. The developers have heard players’ pleas for more content. So, instead of bringing out one big content drop in the summer, they are now set to release new free content drops throughout the year. The post confirms that these game drops will be varied in size, but ultimately, the goal is to bring more content into the game regularly for players to enjoy.
Minecraft Live is also getting a new setup. The developers had confirmed that they will be retiring the mob vote. Likewise, instead of one showcase per year, the new format will happen twice a year, and the broadcast will unveil what features are being worked on. Players are also encouraged to send in feedback. Developers are constantly monitoring the feedback and making adjustments to the game. An example given was the inclusion of cherry groves that came to fruition from one community member asking for its addition during the Trails & Tales Update.
