The upcoming Unholy Alliance update for Cult of the Lamb is adding a feature many players have wanted since the beginning: local co-op. Available for free to all players on August 12, Unholy Alliance will introduce the Goat, a new ally to join the Lamb in local co-op play, as well as two new structures, more varied Crusades, and new relics and tarot cards. Additionally, a new paid DLC called The Pilgrim Pack will be released on the same day.

For $8.99, players will snag the following:
- The full Pilgrim story and bonus pages
- Two unique Follower quests
- Five new Follower forms
- Two new outfits for your Followers to wear
- Five new decorations
“[The Pilgrim Pack is] a brand new interactive digital comic, where your choices will take you on a colorful adventure with new secret quests, Follower forms, outfits, and decorations for your beloved Cult,” reads a Steam post from the dev team. “This is a completely new concept for us, so we’re so excited to finally be able to share it.”
Cult of the Lamb is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Released in August 2022, the title sold one million copies in its first week, and also won Best Indie Game at the Golden Joystick Awards in 2022 and Game of the Year at the Australian Game Developer Awards the same year.
