It’s May the 4th this week, and you know what that means: It’s Star Wars Day! To celebrate the occasion, EA and DICE are enabling gamers who have yet to try out their first-person shooter, Star Wars Battlefront, for absolutely no charge on May 4.
If you log into Origin at any time from 11:00am May 4, you can download the free trial, which will run for four hours.
Every map and mode available to the retail version of the game will be in the free trial to check out. The only thing you won’t have access to are the Outer Rim and other DLC content.
Existing owners of Star Wars Battlefront can also participate in the event, and get a one-time bonus of 4,444 credits for free. The studios are launching a new Hutt Contract which challenges players to spend 3500 to 8000 credits and complete bounties to unlock the new Bacta Bomb Star Card that lets you supercharge you and your allies with additional health.
