Good news for fans of Fire Emblem Fates who wanted more game content. Map Pack 2 arrives starting on May 5th.
The first Map Pack came out back in February of this year, and it came with $17.99 price tag to get all 11 available maps. This upcoming Map Pack is about half the size of the first one, with 6 new maps that are all part of an overarching story series.
Here’s Map Pack 2’s “Heirs of Fate” story, according to the description on the Nintendo website.
“Across dimensions, other versions of the Hoshidan and Nohrian children are under attack. Born and raised in the Deeprealms, these fledgling warriors must now rise up to save themselves and their parents as they unravel the mystery of their adversaries. In this 6-map series, units leveled up in the main game cannot lend support. Devise a strategy using a fresh team and reap the rewards, but only if all of your units survive.”
You can buy this new Map Pack for $7.99. But if you want to just try out one of the maps to see if you would be interested in the whole story, the first one will be available to purchase individually for 49 cents. Every new map after that will cost $1.99 when they come out.
