The Sims studios is currently working on a project called Project Rene, which has already been in the works for a few years, but it will basically be the Sims 5. The developers have not wated to call the game the fifth installment, as they desire to give it a different name overall but so far it hasn’t been revealed.
Something to note about the Sims is how much work seemingly goes into the games with all the details, thought, and programming that goes into designing these kinds of games. All we can see is, they are in no hurry and that might be brothersome to some people. With Life By You now being delayed, it makes things even more difficult because gamers thought Project Rene would wait even longer before coming out to ensure it wouldn’t have any competition according to GameRant.
Having competiton with Life by You already wouldn’t be great for The Sims as this game is being “everything the Sims wasn’t.” The game will allow players to control a life simulator almost just like how the Sims already allows, but it is being talked about that Life By You is more realistic by adding things like characters getting in car wrecks and a lot more.
For now, there is no set dates for either Life By You or the Project Rene game from EA. However, at least we know we will be getting two really well designed life simulators. Hopefully release dates will come out soon.
