V Rising Finally Coming to PlayStation 5 on June 11

May 20, 2024 by Carley Garcia

Preorders are now open on the PlayStation store.

On May 8, the hit vampire survival action game V Rising finally left early access on PC, causing the player count on Steam to surge with the exciting release of Version 1.0. Packed with new content and gaining a resurgence in interest, many speculated about when the title would be released for PlayStation 5, and the answer is finally here: you can get your bloodsucking fix on Sony’s flagship console on June 11.

Check out the PS5 release date trailer for V Rising below:

The standard game will retail for $39.99 and preorders are now available via the PlayStation Store. A ‘Legacy of Castlevania’ Edition will be available for $59.99 and will include the base game and the ‘Legacy of Castlevania’ premium pack. Additionally, the $99.99 Complete Edition will include the base game, the ‘Legacy of Castlevania’ premium pack, ‘Sinister Evolution’ pack, ‘Dracula’s Relics’ pack, and ‘Eldest Bloodline’ pack.

Since arriving on Steam two years ago, V Rising has seen plenty of consistent updates and changes to keep players engaged and interested. The title features a vast open world, and as players step into the shoes of vampire protagonists, they must be careful to avoid sunlight and feed on blood as they explore.

“Awaken after centuries of slumber, weakened and thirsty for blood. Explore a vast open world of dark fantasy, humans, horrors, and worse…the deadly sunlight. Rise in power and conquer the world of the living,” the official description reads.

V Rising was released for the PC in early access on May 17, 2022. Within only one month, it sold two million copies. The game can be played solo, cooperatively, or in an online multiplayer mode.
