Capcom Seeks Feedback on Potential Dragon’s Dogma 2 DLC

March 28, 2024 by Carley Garcia

The survey is live until April 21.

A new survey has been launched to gauge player interest in future DLC for Dragon’s Dogma 2. Capcom is seeking feedback from players following the game’s launch last week, and participants will receive an original digital wallpaper.

The survey, open until April 21, also asks players how much they’d be willing to spend on DLC content, with options ranging from $10 to $50.

More updates for Dragon’s Dogma 2 were detailed by Capcom earlier this week, including bug fixes, the addition of multiple save slots, and a Max 30FPS option on console. The number of Art of Metamorphosis items, which enable players to change their character’s appearance, will also be increased. These updates will be added in the near future.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a direct sequel to the 2012 title Dragon’s Dogma released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox One. According to director Hideaki Itsuno, the game’s main story is over 30 hours long, though completionists will find content lasting well over 100 hours.

Upon its highly-anticipated release last week, many were frustrated with the implementation of 21 different microtransactions immediately available. While these items can be earned in-game and are completely optional, players have continued speaking out against Capcom’s decision to include these options with its first $70 game. The title has also seen backlash for its poor performance on PC.

Despite complaints, the game boasted over 200,000 concurrent players on Steam at launch, becoming one of the biggest launches of the year and one of the most successful day-one releases for Capcom to date.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 was released on March 22 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
