A couple of weeks ago I wrote up the announcement that Killzone, the original PS2 FPS classic, was coming to the PS3 in late January. That turned out not to be true, Killzone IS still coming to the PlayStation Store but it has been delayed indefinitely. No word as to why, which is annoying if you were waiting for it, but you can't expect it to be too long, right?
Depending what the problem is, it might just have to go back through QA. That could mean the US has Killzone within a couple of months (the EU store will never, NEVER have a PS2 classic). Otherwise, it might be a rights thing which could quite possibly take years and effectively cancel the re-release.
Watch this space, no doubt if there's extra information to give out, the official Killzone twitter will share what it can.
