There are three tiers of PlayStation Plus, and if you’re on at least the PlayStation Plus Extra tier, you will gain access to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.
The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog is a comprehensive collection of titles that you can download and enjoy. This is included in your PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Premium tiers at no additional charge. While it might not have access to first-party PlayStation titles at launch like how Microsoft curates its Xbox Game Pass subscription service, there are still some incredibly heavy hitters. Those of you who are after games that range from small indie hits to big blockbuster releases will find something here to enjoy.
Best of all, we get a new collection of games added to the service each month. Now, these games are not permanent. Eventually, they will get swapped out from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, but you should have ample time to go through these games as they are added to the subscription service.
