Anno 2205’s Veteran’s Pack DLC is now available from developer Blue Byte and publisher Ubisoft, the companies announced in a press release today.
The game’s Veteran’s Pack adds new features to the game and additional challenges for more experienced challenges. There’s an additional quest type, ornaments, and new interface options. A new harder difficulty mode is designed to push players to their limits and make them more carefully consider how to grow their corporations.
The new difficulty settings can be adapted to existing profiles or used from the start with a new corporation. A quick view mode, much-requested by the community, is also available along with the option to exclude some goods from consumption.
Three new ornaments offer increased diversity for player cities while performance updates included faster loading times and an improved start.
Blue Byte is planning additional content for the game with the release of the free Big Five Pack DLC, which will introduce an Economic Warfare feature to Anno 2205. This sees players compete for shares in the five biggest corporations (the Big Five) and defend shares in their own company. There’s also new Sector Effects which can provide a temporary or permanent positive or negative effect to different player sectors.
Anno 2205 will expand further with the launch of the Orbit DLC in June. It will allow players construct their own modular space stations which come with their own new science and research system for upgrading different areas of your corporation. Orbit will be available as part of the Anno 2205 Season Pass but is also available for purchase separately.
