Zombies were a really big deal in the first Black Ops. Although the zombie killing mode was nothing at all like Left 4 Dead, it was still pretty good for what it offered—especially in the DLC that added Buffy the Vampire Slayer and a bunch of other celebrity characters.
Treyarch sound designer Collin Ayers says he'll be playing close attention to fans and that he'll be taking input from them on the Call of Duty Zombies fan forum. It's not an official confirmation, but it's a pretty good hint that the mode is in the works.
It's no surprise that the zombies will probably make a return in Treyarch's next Call of Duty game, which is planned for release this year.
We're getting pretty damn tired of Call of Duty games these days, so it'll be nice to mix things up a little with more zombie killing action.
