The creators of Pokémon have no intention of letting the interest in their franchise ebb. By combining Pokémon with Nobunaga's Ambition, they've managed to create an awesome new game that seems to carry the qualities of both titles—with Pokémon collection and the turn-based strategy of Nobunaga's Ambition.
This delightful looking game is a collab between The Pokémon Company and Tecmo Koei, creators of the Nobunaga series.
Pokémon x Nobunaga's Ambition is slated for release on the Nintendo DS in Japan this spring. There's no word on when the game will make it stateside or anywhere outside of Japan, but I can only hope that its popularity doesn't go unnoticed by Nintendo.
It goes without saying that I desperately want to play this game.
