While many of you are no doubt retaking New York City in Tom Clancy’s The Division, Ubisoft hasn’t forgotten it’s other recently released game, Far Cry Primal.

If you’re still exploring Stone Age central Europe, you’ll be pleased to know that Ubisoft has released a new patch – Title Update 2 – for the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One that includes an extensive range of fixes.

Community manager Ubi_Jax writes: “Fellow Wenja! Now that everyone has had a chance to learn the lay of the land of Oros, we’re happy to announce the second title update for Far Cry Primal. This update introduces several game fixes, along with some additional HUD changes, including the ability to disable the HUD entirely, which should allow for some spectacular prehistoric photo opportunities!”

A number of important changes have also been made to the UI options available to players, who can now disable the HUD option and prevent enemies from being revealed on the minimap.

In general, players can expect improved stability and performance. A fix was been applied to prevent specific “low occurrence” crashes as well.

Other areas including gameplay, lighting, AI, missions, wildlife, UI and specific issues with the game’s map have all been addressed and will hopefully result in a better all round experience.

The patch comes in at about 570 MB on Xbox One and 577 MB on PlayStation. Ubisoft will release the PC version shortly and you can find the full list of fixes over on Ubisoft’s forums.

Far Cry Primal takes place 10,000 years ago and retools the familiar Far Cry experience for prehistoric times. The game is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
