Farmville and the Nintendo Virtual Boy have made it to TIME’s “The 50 Worst Inventions” among others. Well, no surprise that Nintendo’s Virtual Boy has made it to the list bearing in mind that the console was in the market for 6 months with only 16 games available for the console in the US for its complete life cycle.
TIME’s editor described Farmville in the most appropriate way, “The most addictive of Facebook games is hardly even a game — it’s more a series of mindless chores on a digital farm, requiring the endless clicking of a mouse to plant and harvest crops.“
