Korea’s still having a bit of a struggle in regards to Diablo III, and it doesn’t look like there’s an end in sight.
The Game Rating Board, the government agency who assign game classifications in Korea, are still having a hard time figuring out just what they’re going to do about Diablo III, despite rumors that Korea would finally get a result today. Because of Blizzard’s commital to a region free, united, global release date, it’s rumored that the longer Korea takes to sort this out, the long everyone else waits.
It seems the main issue is to do with the ‘auction house’ feature. Please, stifle your groans. Because you can sell and buy items you win in the game, some members of the Rating Board are a little worried this resembles gambling.
As it stands, though, it seems we’ll be playing the waiting game long before we’re playing Diablo III.
