Rockstar Games is under a magnifying glass by fans. There’s been so much speculation, rumors, and leaks surrounding the next major installment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Despite all this, we’re still waiting for Rockstar Games to make an official announcement regarding what is coming out. After all, we’ve been waiting on this installment since Grand Theft Auto V launched back in 2013. So while hype and anticipation continue to build, fans are taking to any assets available in Grand Theft Auto V and its online counterpart for clues to what’s coming.
We have seen teases as to what the next installment or setting will be for future Rockstar Games in the titles already released. This is leaving fans on a constant quest to seek anything and everything that could lead to what Rockstar Games is currently working on. Today, we’re finding a new unreleased asset that has fans pointing out as a clue to Grand Theft Auto 6’s location. This comes from a shirt that was never released for Grand Theft Auto Online. With this shirt’s design, we’re getting a landscape with fans scratching their head regarding its location.
This discovery comes from a Twitter user by the name of CassiqueGTA, who says that the shirt was named Downtown Cab Co. Revere Collar. The image showcases a taxi, but the landscape behind the vehicle doesn’t appear to be Los Santos. Fans are pointing out that this image doesn’t look like Vice City either. Vice City has been the prominent rumored candidate location for Grand Theft Auto 6. Regardless, the biggest issue is the giant mountain located right next to a city.
Of course, other fans have chimed in and said that this could be an early concept model that never made it to the game. A theory is that this might be an early concept of Los Santos before some changes were made and the design was ultimately dropped. Whatever this design is supposed to be, it’s got plenty of fans talking. At the moment, we’re left waiting on Rockstar Games to make the official reveal of Grand Theft Auto 6, which will hopefully be showcased in 2023. That should finally confirm if any easter eggs fans have supposedly found in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online were actually real.
