The US PlayStation Blog has published some lists of the best-selling indie titles on the PSN this year. Splitting between titles self-published by third parties, titles published by SCEA and titles pushing as part of the Pub Fund scheme, the lists give some indication as to what people have been buying this year.
No surprise to see that the biggest third party game is Playdead's Limbo. Not only were their discounts for Plus members, but there's been an awful lot of talk concerning the game. Other top games are Castle Crashes, Worms 2: Armageddon and Braid. Sony published titles include Pixeljunk Shooter 2, Flower, Hustle Kings and Fat Princess.
Perhaps the biggest surprise here is that Linger in Shadows is still selling… easy trophies and a low price will do a lot for a game, I guess.
Sony confirmed with Joystiq that the Welcome Back scheme and Plus freebies don't count towards these tables. Check below for the full rankings.
