Rumor: Sony to reveal PSN Premium Services at E3

Rumors are circulating that Sony is set to reveal PSN Premium services at this year’s E3

Source close to VG247 have revealed some juicy details regarding PSN’s premium services which is set to be the highlight of Sony’s E3 2010 Keynote.

According to the source,
1. The premium service will cost users less than £50 or $70 for 12 months.
2. Premium users will be able to download one free PSN game a month from a choice of two to four games.(Keep in mind a single PSN game costs between $10-$15)
3. A streaming music application similar to Spotify will be announced which can run in the background while playing games.

It has been revealed that even after the release of the premium services the current free PSN model will stay intact. The source said,


There’s nothing in the premium package which will gimp regular PSN users.
