First Chapter Of The Walking Dead: Michonne Launches With New Trailer

February 22, 2016 by Holly Green

Find out what motivates Michonne in this latest footage.

Tomorrow the first chapter of The Walking Dead: Michonne, the latest miniseries from Telltale Games, officially sets sail on console and PC. To commemorate this occasion, a launch trailer has been released, and it offers a glimpse at what to expect from In Too Deep as the first of three chapters in the game unfolds.

The Walking Dead: Michonne will explore an untold chapter in the life of Michonne, who is featured extensively in both the television show and graphic novel version of The Walking Dead. In the comic, there are several issues where Michonne mysteriously does not make an appearance, a period of her life that is also not depicted in the TV show. The miniseries will close this gap of her missing past, promising to reveal”what took her away from Rick, Carl, and the rest of her trusted group… and what brought her back.” as she sails the Eastern coast and encounters the floating survivor city of Monroe. The trailer explores all the usual The Walking Dead themes of violence, distrust, the selfish nature of human beings but also, tragically, loss. See what motivates Michonne in the footage posted above.

Two more chapters will come out after the release of In Too Deep in the following months; Give No Shelter will arrive in March and What We Deserve will come in April. The price of all three episodes will be $14.99 and the new chapters will be delivered as they debut. The Walking Dead: Michonne will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. It will also be available for Android and iOs devices starting February 25, 2016.
