Next Bungie game will be coming to the PS3

After the recently announced partnership between Bungie and Activision it is clear that Bungie’s next game will be multiplatform as Harold Ryan, President of Bungie, said, “We chose to partner with Activision on our next IP because of their global reach, multi-platform experience and marketing expertise.”

If PS3 fans want more assuring, Patrick Seybold, Sony senior director of corporate communications, tweeted “Congrats to Bungie. Marrying their creative minds and incredible talent to the power of PS3 will be like giving PS3 fans Halo on steroids.”

It will probably not be a game from the Halo universe but the beginning of a new franchise in itself.

If Bungie fans are wondering that their beloved developers could be heading the same route as Infinity Ward, let us clarify that Bungie has entered into a publishing deal with Activision where they still have autonomy and own all of their IPs.
