Recoil Games has announced its plans to bring the PSN puzzle-platformer Rochard to Steam on the PC. The game, which is presently exclusive to the PlayStation Network, is headed to Steam next week carrying a relatively modest pricetag of $9.99.
The side-scroller combines puzzle and platform elements. Players take on the role of Rochard, a space miner who along with his crew must take on space pirates bent on hijacking his dig site. Rochard has an anti-gravity device and a gravity gun at his disposal.
"Rochard is a fun, original experience designed to test players' wits and coordination," said Samuli Syvähuoko, founder of Finnish studio Recoil Games.
"We're incredibly excited to bring this game to PC users, since it's a natural fit for gamers across consoles as well as on PC. We can't wait to see PC gamers take Rochard through his adventure and watch the fun ways they use the game's mechanics to manipulate gravity and solve all of the challenges and puzzles."
I've played it—it's good!
