Between the grit, the grime, the constant combat and settlement building, the Commonwealth sounds like the worst place to have a manicure. I’d break a nail the first time I picked up a Pipe Pistol. A moot point however, as there are no fake nail salons in post-apocalyptia. Here in reality, Reddit user SavageFork has posted this gorgeous photo of her impeccable Fallout 4 gel-polished acrylic fingernails, a bright and glossy homage to the game in the form of a Vault Boy portrait, Vault 111 logo, and radioactive waste.
This nail art is the creation of California-based nail artist Molly Nguyen, who also has an Instagram portfolio full of photos highlighting her amazingly dainty and detailed work. The Fallout 4 set seems to be one of her rare video game themed requests but she’s also done an Angry Bird set and plenty of Hello Kitty themed ones too. I wonder if I can get her to give me orange claws like Felicia from Darkstalkers. Compared to her perfectly painted Vault Boy portrait, it’d be easy.
