Syndicate Gets 4-Player Cooperative Mode

November 1, 2011 by Ian Miles Cheong

Players can cooperate with others in Syndicate’s cooperative mode, with support for up to four agents in total.

Syndicate's release is a while off, but that shouldn't stop us from gawking at just about every screenshot EA releases. A batch of new images shows off a multitude of co-op action sequences where it appears the player is accompanied by supporting agents, some of whom sport berets and mohawks—following the aesthetic of the original PC games.

Other images show off the game's augmented reality, with items and allies highlighted in blue and enemies in orange. Players use a variety of weapons, from miniguns and pulse lasers to straight up melee.

Accompanying the images is a trailer of the game's new co-op mode. As always, the trailer even comes packed with a new Skrillex track based on Syndicate. Starburst has clearly outdone itself with this one.

Syndicate is bound for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on 21 February.
