Batman: Arkham City Coming to PC November 18

October 18, 2011 by Josh Harmon

The game will be making its way to PCs exactly one month after today’s launch on consoles.

Last month, Warner Bros. Interactive announced that the PC version of Batman: Arkham City wouldn't be making it to stores alongside its console counterparts and would instead slip to sometime in November . Today, perhaps in commemoration of the game's launch on the PS3 and Xbox 360, the company has given us a firm date for the PC launch: November 18. For those of you who share Calendar Man's peculiar affliction, that's exactly one month from today.

Arkham City, Rocksteady's follow up to the 2009's smash hit Batman: Arkham Asylum, sees the Caped Crusader heading into a cordoned off wing of Gotham to defeat Hugo Strange and a rogues gallery of classic villains. Though the game has only just launched, it's already generated an astonishing amount of critical praise. The PlayStation 3 version of the game currently holds an astounding 97 out of 100 on Metacritic, with the Xbox 360 counterpart only two points behind.

Hopefully the extra month of development will help Rocksteady ensure that the PC version meets or exceeds the high standard set by the console releases.
