As the not-E3 season is over, the next major games event of this year is Gamescom 2022. Xbox will be attending this event and will shed more light on some of its previously announced games.
“Following our recent Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, we’re excited to confirm that Xbox will be back on the show floor at Gamescom 2022 in Cologne, Germany,” the company announced today. “Fans in Europe and around the world can expect updates on some announced games coming to Xbox in the next 12 months and a chance to hang out as a community again (in person)!”
According to this statement, Xbox won’t reveal any new games during Gamescom 2022. However, we can expect more news about the games announced during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase.
Xbox revealed several games during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase last month. Redfall and Starfield are the most anticipated games coming to Xbox next year, but several new games are also worth a look. During the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, we had the opportunity to see trailers for Redfall and Starfield, but also for Hollow Knight: Silksong, High on Life, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Forza Motorsport, Ark 2, The Last Case of Benedict Fox, As Dusk Falls, Grounded, and many more.
The company hasn’t revealed exactly which game will be featured during Gamescom 2022. Xbox will provide more details about their plans for the event in early August. Gamescom 2022 will take place in Cologne, Germany, on August 23-28.
