Splatoon’s Final Weapon, Custom Hydra Splatling, Releases Today

January 15, 2016 by Ryan Parreno

In the final tally, Splatoon has accumulated 74 inky fresh weapons.

Splatoon’s last weapon has finally arrived.

The Custom Hydra Splatling looks every bit like fire rescue equipment, and it works like it too. Its water hose like main weapon can hit from a distance. Fittingly, its sub weapon is a Sprinkler, and Special Weapon, the protective Bubbler.

In the final tally, Splatoon has 74 weapons, including the three weapons you can get from the Splatoon amiibo. These amiibo weapons look different from the regular versions but otherwise play the same. You may also be interested to note that most of these weapons are variations with different loadouts.

As new content sunsets for Splatoon, we’d like to ask, how have you enjoyed how Nintendo rolled out their content? Do you think they should do exactly the same for Splatoon 2? Would you be willing to pay for more DLC for Splatoon now? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
