What a way to start the week. This weekend, Piranha Studios announced the MechWarrior Online World Championships at their Steam launch party. The competition kicks off in Q1 of 2016 with a $100,000 seeded purse.

MechWarrior recently launched the new “Faction Warfare” element, which allows clans to fight over territory control in the Inner Sphere. In general, reviews from players on Steam seem to be enthusiastic.
