During today’s Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase it was announced that Hollow Knight: Silksong will be a day one Xbox Games Pass title.
While initially expected during the Summer Games Fest or Nintendo Indie World Showcase, fans finally got some news about the long awaited sequel to Hollow Knight.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is the anticipated sequel of the original Hollow Knight game. The original game was a metroidvania which caught the attention of fans thanks to its depressing souls-like aesthetic and whimsical art direction.
Xbox Games Pass has quickly become the dominant way to access day one titles on Xbox and on PC. Now Hollow Knight: Silksong joins the ranks of games like Grounded and Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising as a day one title for Xbox Games Pass.
Now while we know the game will be coming to Xbox Games Pass, we’re still without a release date despite it being three years since the game was originally announced.
While the game has only been officially announced for PC and Nintendo Switch, this could mean that we may be getting the game on the Xbox Series X/S when it finally releases.
