Summer Games Fest 2022 gave gamers their first look at Infinity Ward’s upcoming shooter title, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The developers released a short gameplay trailer for the game yesterday, but now at the event, they released a full gameplay demo through one of the levels.
Viewers will see familiar faces such as Soap, Captain Price, and Ghost as well as some cool new characters. The demo looks amazing in terms of graphics–the way the light bounces off the cargo ship, the explosions, and the smooth gunplay seemed like everything fans of the franchise have been looking forward to experiencing first-hand.

The action will follow Task Force 141’s crew of Team leader Captain John Price, Sergeant Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, Sergeant “Soap” MacTavish, lone-wolf Simon “Ghost” Riley, and Colonel Alejandro Vargas of the Mexican Special Forces. Fans of the franchise will be happy to see a retelling of the Modern Warfare franchise, which from the look of it looks pretty amazing. The developers have been pouring their heart into the game and it can show, from the smooth gameplay to the amazing graphics, Modern Warfare 2 should be a fun title this Fall season.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28th.
