McDonald’s is getting into the Pokemon craze in a big way, as they are in charge for a Halloween holiday distribution for mythical Pokemon Hoopa.
Gamers with a 2DS or 3DS and a copy of either Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, orPokémon Alpha Sapphire, can simply connect online in their participating McDonald’s branch, to their Nintendo Zone, to receive Hoopa as a gift. This Hoopa will already be Level 50, and use the moves Hyperspace Hole, Psychic, Astonish, and Nasty Plot. Core Pokemon players know only Hoopa can use Hyperspace Hole. To add to this, if you happen to have Pokémon Omega Ruby, orPokémon Alpha Sapphire, you can transform this Hoopa to a Hoopa Unbound. The Hoopa distribution will be live from November 27 to December 23.
Nintendo clearly knows what they’re doing, since they have also arranged with McDonald’s to offer Pokémon Omega Ruby andAlpha Sapphire Happy Meals. Each Happy Meal will come with a toy of Pikachu, Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Lugia, Rayquaza, Mega Latios, Wobbuffet, or Hoopa. On top of that, they will also come with one Pokemon TCG cards, with 12 cards to be distributed in total.
