A group of hackers who’d like to call themselves Fearâ„¢ (LiGHTzz,SoleWiz,VaPoRiiZe) have somehow managed to hack into Larry Hyrb’s, also known as Major Nelson, Xbox Live account. They have also changed the profile details on his account which you can see below
That’s not all, the Fearâ„¢ team has also posted a youtube video claiming full responsibility for the hack and are offering their services for hacking any XBL account for a one time fee of $100 via their official website lightzz.com.
Larry Hyrb is the Director of Programming for the Microsoft gaming network Xbox Live. His blog MajorNelson.com provides an “inside” look at operations at Microsoft’s Xbox division.
UPDATE
Major Nelson now has full control over his account. Stephen Toulouse, Director of Policy and Enforcement for Xbox LIVE, tweeted “Thanks for the heads up folks. we have gotten Major’s account back. We’ll investigate what happened.”
