Sony has announced Boundless, which is a PlayStation 4 console exclusive and coming to the system in 2016.
Details about the open-world game are scarce at this point, it does seem to have been inspired by Minecraft – with a handheld tool and blocky structures and environments.
Portals seem to link players to other worlds, with the player stepping through one to find a different surrounding and colour-scheme on the other side.
On the PlayStation Blog, developer Wonderstruck announced that the game will be cross-play compatible with PC.
