Today Harmonix has announced on their official blog that Rock Band 4 will soon be receiving an update. The patch, which is expected to go live on November 2, will include both new features and bug fixes. In addition to 5.1 surround crowd audio support, mic volume adjustment, and added PlayStation 4 streaming support, players will now be able to use custom characters as band stand-ins. Numerous bugs will also be fixed, from legacy instrument issues to problems relating to text formatting and game crashes. Perhaps most importantly, though: the facial expression for the shellposemetal_low will now be "less goofy". The post also mentions that fixes for the Rock Band DLC library are ongoing. Check out the full details of the patch over at the Harmonix blog.
Rock Band 4 debuted to positive reviews on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 6.
