Fallout 4 is now available for preload on Xbox One. This option is also available on the PlayStation 4 and Steam. Per a Bethesda note, the game will unlock at 12:01 AM EST in North America, and at 12:01 AM local time in all territories. In Asia and Japan, the game launches on Wednesday, November 11 and Thursday, December 17, respectively. The game will be available at 12:01 AM local time on those dates.
The Xbox One has supported preloading since 2014. The feature was also introduced on the PlayStation 4 last year as well. Steam has provided this option for most major games for years.
If you can't wait for the game to release, this could be a great way to tide you over. If that’s not enough, you can take a look at the game’s controls for Xbox One here. You could also pick up any of the Fallout 4 merchandise that was unveiled this past week. While the Great War sale is over, you can still pick up the limited edition Art of Fallout 4 book, the Ultimate Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide, or some of the Carlsberg Fallout-inspired beer. A new Great War t-shirt was also unveiled, along with a limited edition wired Xbox One Vault Boy controller.
Fallout 4 launches for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Tuesday, November 10.
