COD 7 details and dedicated servers for PC version

March 29, 2010 by Gameranx Staff

COD 7 to be titled COD 7: Black Ops and will feature dedicated servers for the PC version

Treyarch

Hardcore CoD site Tek9 has revealed some interesting details about the upcoming Call of Duty game, which according to it’s inside sources in Activision will be titled “Call of Duty 7: Black Ops” and will be set in recent history with missions ranging from Cuba to South Africa.

PC gamers might rejoice to the fact that Treyarch intends to support dedicated servers for the PC version which will be released in November 2010 alongside the console versions.

Players will be able to play as members of SAS(Special Air Service), principle special forces unit of the British Army. One of the missions will also involve players finding themselves in an Iranian Embassy in London during the 80s.

A Zombie killing mode which was one of the highlights of Treyarch’s previous COD game (COD 5: World at War) will also make an emphatic return with hordes of Zombies again at the mercy of players.
