Slender: The Arrival Now Available on Wii U in North America

October 22, 2015 by Michael Fossbakk

Available in Europe next week.

Slender: The Arrival is now available to download on the Wii U eShop in North America for $9.99, as announced last week. It will then come to the European eShop on Oct. 29.

Previously released on just about every other platform, the Wii U version of the game does not use the Wii U Gamepad, but the Wii Remote, instead, as a simulated experience for the in-game flashlight. The launch trailer below showcases some of the gameplay and how the Wii Remote is used.

Developed by Blue Isle Studios in collaboration with Eric “Victor Surge” Knudson and Mark Hadley, Slender: The Arrival tells the story of Lauren, who is searching for her lost friend Kate. Kate recently became obsessed with Slender Man, the titular antagonist, and has gone missing. Finding Kate’s flashlight, Lauren sets out to find her friend, despite the danger of Slender Man.
