Latest Castle Crashers Content Update, The Barbarian Makeover, Now Live On Steam

October 14, 2015 by Holly Green

Seven years after its initial release, Behemoth is still releasing updates for their loyal fans.

The ever-generous folks at Behemoth today released a new content update for Castle Crashers, the side scrolling beat 'em up indie darling that first breathed life into the Xbox Live digital offerings upon the game's initial release in 2008. Castle Crashers, which recently got a slick high definition upgrade for Xbox One, not only gets the HD polish for Steam, but also receives a new mini game called Back Off Barbarians (replacing All You Can Quaff), uncapped frame rate, general bug fixes, Russian language support, and "updates to the UI flow". Note: to activate Ultra Graphics Mode and get the improved game textures, you must toggle the option in the game menu or else the feature will not be activated.

Castle Crashers Remastered released this past September on the Xbox One for $14.99, with a discount for those who already own the game for Xbox 360. The base game is also available on PlayStation 3.
