Pearl Abyss and Daum have finally confirmed that the Black Desert alpha is coming to the West, very very soon.
In a post on their blog, they declared that they will be announcing the dates for Europe and North America, and keys are already being prepared. Once the keys are ready, fans will be able to apply for them through the official site.
While Black Desert has been available to players In Korea and Japan for some time now, they just confirmed an English version would be coming last August, so it seems it only took them two months to make good on this promise. Some overeager fans have hacked their way in, sans localization, but if you didn’t have the knowhow and was interested, your chance is finally coming soon.
Pearl Abyss has not been slack in developing the game, with the latest update giving players special steeds in Valencia where you can ride with a lover, or even another player. You can get cozy with a partner in-game, or coordinate attacks where you are both on horseback, or even do both.
