Youtube channel RelyonHorror has put up an exclusive 40 minute preview of the next Silent Hill game, Downpour. CJ from Rely On Horror and Whitney from the Silent Hill Historical Society were invited by Konami to experience the third person horror game first hand.
Long time fans of Silent Hill will have much to look forward to in the upcoming game, which takes place amidst stormy weather. This entry may be creepier than most of the series.
In the preview, the protagonist walks through an abandoned 1950s-style diner called the Devil's Pitstop, where he picks up just about everything imaginable until he accidentally sets fire to the stove and turns the diner into a living nightmare. It's a surreal experience and is but a small taste of the game.
I had to stop watching the preview to prevent myself from getting too spoiled, as I intend to pick up the game when it's released on October 25 for both the PS3 and the Xbox 360.
