Call Of Duty Warzone 2 Map Leaked Online

May 25, 2022 by Alexandra Nicholson

Fresh off the back of yesterday’s reveal date announcement for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, new information has seemingly cropped up online regarding Call of Duty Warzone 2. I know, there’s a lot to keep up with. Warzone 2 is currently in development alongside Modern Warfare 2 and is basically the newest iteration of the franchise’s Battle Royale game.

According to well-known industry source Tom Henderson, Call of Duty Warzone 2 has a fully detailed map with multiple points of interest for players to scope out. What’s more, he’s created a diagram in conjunction with Try Hard Guides to reveal the structure and design of the Warzone 2 map. In addition to this, the report also describes how the new map will introduce players to a swimming mechanic, which will be a first for the Warzone game. Check out the diagram here.

Henderson claims that the map seems to be larger in scale and size than both Verdansk and Caldera, and it clearly features a sizeable body of water in its playable area. Some of the points of interest already named by Henderson in Exputer include Highrise (Modern City), Quarry, Terminal, Oasis, Wartorn, Afgan (Caves), Oilfield, Dam, Marshes, Harbor, Sira, Observatory, Mountain town (assumed Fevela), Graveyard, Oldtown, Shipwreck, Fishtown and Fort.

Call of Duty Warzone 2‘s new map will also play host to the game’s new DMZ mode, with apparently only certain parts of the map being playable as sub-levels in this new, mysterious addition to the main game. Warzone 2 is still, of course, currently in development alongside Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, so there’s still plenty of time for things to change, but if this map diagram is anything to go by it looks like things are about to get a lot more interesting for Warzone players.
