Telltale Games has put together the first official trailer for their upcoming adventure game based in the Minecraft universe, Minecraft: Story Mode.
The trailer features details about the contents of the first episode, The Order of the Stone, as well as its cast and Hollywood premiere.
In Minecraft: Story Mode, playing as either a male or female hero named 'Jesse,' players will go on an adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond. You know, usual Minecraft stuff.
You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect; slayers of the Ender Dragon. While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, Jesse's friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and you must set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone if you are to save your world from oblivion.
Patton Oswalt and Catherine Taber lead the cast as Jesse. Supporting actors include Brian Posehn, Ashley Johnson, Scott Porter, Martha Plimpton, Billy West, and Paul Reubens.
The game will be out on October 27 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
