Deep Silver and InXile have announced today that Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut will be released across Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms on October 16, worldwide.

The Director’s Cut is an upgraded version of the original Wasteland 2, released exclusively on the PC, with all new graphics, gamepad support, and a new Perk system for customizing your character. It also comes with a variety of gameplay enhancements, and expanded voiceovers.

Deep Silver has put together a trailer called “Welcome to the Wasteland” to introduce the viewer into the story and the atmosphere of the game.

PC gamers who own the existing title will get a free update that includes all of the content of the Director’s Cut.
