Divinity: Original Sin 2 was funded in just 12 hours on Kickstarter but people are still contributing to Larian Studios' game, including digital distribution platform GOG.com.
GOG is owned by CD Projekt, the parent company of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt RED, and has contributed at least $10,000 to Original Sin 2.
That funding level means their name will appear on the title screen and they'll get to collaborate to create an original character for the RPG.
Regarding the tier, the game's Kickstarter page says: "Become a high-ranking Divine Magister, Black Ring Sorcerer or Ancient Empire Officer. We will work with you to develop a memorable character whose decisions, backstory, and private motivations will intertwine with – or confound – the players."
It's unclear if CD Projekt RED artists will actually get to design the character or just fire off a list of suggestions but it'll be pretty interesting to see what they come up with regardless.
.@larianstudios We're getting our robe and wizard hat. Let the brainstorming begin! #GOGHero
