ArenaNet and NCsoft brought Guild Wars 2 to Britain's Eurogamer Expo in full force, and thanks to YouTube's TotalBiscuit, we've now got nearly an hour of new footage to pore over.
The CynicalBrit founder narrates his 40-odd minutes of playtime as a high level Sylvari Necromancer, then tries out the game's PVP elements as a Norn Thief. It's unfortunately offscreen footage, but the game's detailed environments and character designs still manage to impress.
While I won't be so bold as to use the words "WoW Killer," Guild Wars 2 is shaping certainly up to be an impressive and refreshing entry into the MMO market. If you're looking forward to the game and you've got the time, these videos are well worth a watch.
ArenaNet is taking a "when it's done" approach to Guild Wars 2 and as such have yet to announce a firm release date. Given the current lack of details on a public beta, it seems like we'll have to wait until at least 2012 to head back into Tyria.
