LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga – Toydarian Trade Guide

May 13, 2022 by Peter Hunt Szpytek

Mind tricks don’t work on me. Only money…and dancing?

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is jam-packed full of side quests and optional challenges separate from the main missions that retell the stories of the nine mainline Star Wars films. Most are pretty straightforward–a character wants something, the game puts a waypoint on the map, go and get it–however, sometimes not so much.

The Toydarian Trade mission, in particular, has left many players scratching their heads over what to do. The mission unlocks the Trade Federation Shuttle for players to buy, but actually completing the mission requires the player to do something a little unconventional that isn’t done in the rest of the game.

Toydarian Trade Walkthrough

First, head to Naboo and travel to Theed Palace. The Toydarian that you need to talk to will be in a smaller side path to the left of the stairs leading up to the Theed Royal Palace behind some destructible boxes. After talking to them, he makes sure that you’re his buyer and asks that the player shows him “what he wants to see.” By talking to the nearby Trade Federation members, they’ll reveal that he needs to see someone dance to know that they’re from the Federation.

Unfortunately, you can’t dance, but you can make someone else do it for you. Near the Toydarian, there’s an NPC named “Nosy Naboo.” Switch to a character that’s strong in the Force, it doesn’t matter if they’re a Jedi or Sith, and then use your mind control ability to walk Nosy Naboo up to the Toydarian. Once they’re close by, stop controlling them directly and instead cause them to make a distraction.

With them dancing, talk to the Toydarian. He’ll let you know that he was sorry for doubting you and then give you the ship and the quest will be finished.
