This War of Mine Expands With The Little Ones, Showing the Horrors of War

August 27, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

This War of Mine: The Little Ones has been announced.

This War of Mine is set to receive new campaigns, new missions, and new characters in The Little Ones.

The new content is currently being developed for PS4 and Xbox One consoles and is set for release on January 29, 2016. The game is set to feature every piece of content from the PC version.

The new content explores the hardships of wartime survival as seen from an entirely new perspective—that of a child. Based on the original game, The Little Ones is set to focus on the reality of enduring war and that the idea that even in war, kids are still kids.

"In addition to thinking about survival, you'll have to bring back the kid in yourself to understand how to protect the little ones," reads the press release. "How far will you go to make it through another day?"

Players must teach, educate, and form emotional bonds with the children surviving the war.

The game will be showcased at PAX Prime.
