There was a slight uproar in the Asian gaming community after the recent announcement of the Battlefield 3 Open Beta's release date, since the official Battlefield 3 Beta page revealed that Asia was not included in the listed territories. The EA Singapore team has now announced that the Battlefield 3 Open beta will be available for all of Asia on September 29, but only for PC gamers and there's another update which reads,

The Battlefield 3 Beta will feature a single game mode—Rush—on the map Operation Métro, which takes place in Paris. According to the developers, the full version of the game will feature 5 different modes, to be played across 9 expansive maps.
The Battlefield 3 Beta will also come with the Battlelog built-in. Battlelog allows players to socialize, track stats, and plan games with others for free.
