Well-regarded shoot 'em-up Velocity 2X will be released on Wednesday, August 19th for PC and Xbox One developer FuturLab and publisher Sierra have announced.
The game sees players take on the role of Lt. Kai Tana who escapes from alien captivity and must use her sharp reflexes and teleportation abilities to find her way home with as many of her fellow prisoners as possible.
Velocity 2X switches between side-scrolling action platformer gameplay and top-down shoot'em-up to keep things varied.
The game launched to critical acclaim on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita last September.
