Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition Gets a New Trailer at Gamescom 2015

August 6, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

The newest trailer for Divinity: Original Sin details the game’s new features in its Enhanced Edition.

Focus Home Interactive has released a new trailer for Larian Studios' epic role-playing game for Divinity: Original Sin, which is set for a new release on the Xbox One and PS4. It's also slated to be re-released on the PC with all new content and features as the Enhanced Edition.

The game is set to deliver couch-coop to RPGs with split-screen mode in a first for current-generation consoles. The game invites players to explore a vibrant world full of swords and magic either alone or together with a friend. When playing with someone else, you'll share the same screen-space with an all new console-oriented UI—venture too far apart and you'll go into split-screen mode, allowing for players to be independent of oneanother.

As any review of the game's original release will mention, Divinity: Original Sin offers dynamic turn-based combat in which players can cast a range of elemental spells and abilities that function as hazards to be exploited against enemies or unfortunate obstacles that players will have to overcome.

The game is set to offer new quests, changes to the crafting system, new story situations, and fully voiced and remastered dialogue.

In addition to a new UI and features, players will now also be able to select their difficulty level to match their needs.

It's out this fall. Watch the new trailer below.
